Explore the Cost of Iowa’s Private Colleges With “Your Course to College” During Iowa Private College Week

Posted on Updated on

Continuing though Aug. 7, Iowa Private College Week showcases the benefits Iowa’s private colleges offer prospective students, including smaller class sizes and enrollments compared to larger public universities, as well school-based grants that can supplement other scholarships and state grants when considering financial aid. According to the Iowa Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, the organization behind Iowa Private College Week, this combination can help students finish their degree less time and carry less financial stress from debt after graduation.

To help understand both what colleges offer and the cost of those schools, Iowa College Aid publishes the annual “Your Course” guide, featuring profiles of every college in Iowa, including student enrollment numbers and tuition, boarding and supply cost estimates provided by each school. Coinciding with Iowa Private College Week, we are highlighting the profiles of participating schools and giving an early look at some of the college profiles featured in the upcoming “Your Course to College Guide” for the 2015-16 school year. To see the previous schools featured, check out our blog posts from Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
